POSTURAL REBALANCE

Most of the diseases that affect the musculoskeletal system (osteoarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, lumbago, sciatica, neck pain, night cramps...) are caused by incorrect postures and bad habits, which is why it is essential to introduce them in your day to day constant postural education.  

At the Contrology center, Postural Rebalancing is practiced with the Raggi® Method through a special hammock called  Pancafit®. 

PANCAFIT® A new way to stretch

Pancafit® – Raggi Method® is an innovative and revolutionary device that has been studied and created to recover and maintain good physical condition.
 

It allows to rebalance the posture with simplicity and in a short time, acting on the globality of the muscular chains. Taking advantage of the force of gravity, it allows to eliminate the compensations that the body uses to escape from the tensions generated when trying to stretch and rebalance shortened muscle chains.

We cannot forget that 90% of pathologies of the musculo-articular system are related to changes in posture. Through this method we act on the body structure as a whole – hence the name of global muscle stretching – respecting the joint anatomy and physiology.

 

Pancafit® allows numerous global muscle stretching and postural rebalancing exercises to be carried out in a comfortable and simple way never before experienced. Through this method, it is really possible to improve posture and restore elasticity to those muscles responsible for generating muscle, tendon and joint problems. The great revolution of this new system of stretching and postural rebalancing is in the simple and immediate application that it offers the professional, to work effectively on the muscular chains.
 

Nowadays, the postural issue is very important for the well-being of people, being the same ones that demand more and more specific care in this regard. It is a reality that no longer affects only the health and rehabilitation sector, but goes further. It also involves sports centers and gyms. For this reason, a new activity called Pancafit® Group has been created.

This activity, in addition to being very dynamic and pleasant, is above all beneficial for people, since it allows them to create a decisive continuity in improving their physical conditions and quality of life.

Pancafit® Group classes can be one or two sessions per week between 45 and 50 minutes. In them, those who will choose between individual or group sessions, will adopt global stretching postures combined with a special type of breathing throughout the entire work session. In this way, it is possible to restore freedom to the joints "imprisoned" by muscles that are too tense and shortened.
       Pancafit® exercises

The first thing is to place the student in a correct position on the Pancafit®. Next, the working angle is determined according to the availability of each person, moving the two inclined planes.

This angle is what determines a greater or lesser stretch of the posterior muscular chain. The more closed, the more intensity of the stretch. During the exercises, the back and the sacrum will remain perfectly supported, thus determining a perfect stretching of all the muscles of the spine.

 
Applying some simple foot exercises it is possible to increase the tensions that can also involve and interest the cervical area. The general mobility achieved is truly important.
Also in this posture you can apply different exercises with your arms, in addition to being able to use the handles that the device itself incorporates.

It is an excellent exercise for all people who suffer from kyphosis, lordosis, scoliosis or any other disease that affects the spine.
 
Like every exercise on Pancafit®, we can apply numerous variants determined by changing the angles, the position of the legs (intra or extra rotation) or the arms, either intra or extra rotation, or in extension thanks to the availability that have the handles built into the pancafit itself.

Given that the muscular chains will also exercise their action on the thorax and on the diaphragm, it will be compulsory to apply a type of breathing that will be taught to the student during the work sessions.
